Yeah, well, I haven't posted in a while. Not a huge surprise there...
It's the end of Spring 2011 semester. It's been quite the adventure! :) I love the University of Utah and I can not wait until I receive my diploma from this school. It's only the beginning of the journey here and I plan on making countless memories. This was the best decision of my life to come here. I've met people who have the same views as I do! Incredible! I love it! Makes for interesting topics of discussion.
My classes this semester weren't that difficult. I thought I'd go with an easy semester going back to school since I took off all last summer and fall. And I'm happy with my decision. Fall 2011 semester on the other hand is going to be quite a different story...it'll be fun, but definitely more work. As for now, I'm going to enjoy my summer and worry about fall when the time comes.
I turn 21 in about two weeks! I'm so flipping excited! I've been waiting for this age for a LONG time. The weekend after my birthday I'm going to Mesquite with family and a few friends. It's going to be great. I get to drink legally, and gamble! I've been practicing how to play games, and it's been great fun thanks to my fantastic fiance. But don't worry fellow bloggers, I will be careful on how much I spend and figure out a good time to stop. Nonetheless, I'm super excited to hang out with friends and family that weekend.
Unfortunately, I'm not getting married in August anymore. But it's okay, I need to find a better job and save up more money. It's a better decision despite what people will think. And I guess, who cares what they think. So as of right now, there is no definitive date and will remain that way until I'm fully ready for the responsibilities of marriage. But Brandon and I are great, and our relationship is not the issue.
Well, that's all for now folks! Take care!
I'm a student at the University of Utah exploring human behaviors and studying why people act the way they do...aka I'm a Psychology major. :)

Snow is pretty, but...
....it really needs to go away. I keep dreaming of San Diego and how wonderful it sounds to be there right now. Speaking of which, my long term goal is to attend graduate school at San Diego St. I'm pretty excited about this, and I'm determined to actually accomplish this goal.
Anyway, back to the here and now.
It's been a while since I've posted, so I'm going to try and sum it up as best as I can.
First, I finally got a job I love. :) I'm working at the University of Utah campus store. WOO-HOO! It's fantastic, and it's going to be so convenient when I attend school there in January. But yeah! Good times. :)
Also, I have registered for Spring 2011 classes and I'm taking: Personality Theory (again, but it's online), Adult Development and Aging, Psychology as a Science and Profession, and Peoples/Cultures of the Middle East. It's going to be an awesome semester, and the best part is, I don't have school Monday, Wednesday, or Friday! :) My classes are on Tuesday and Thursday, and this works out well because I'll be able to work the days I don't have class. I love planning this stuff out. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Weird, I know. :)
The Utes beat BYU this past weekend by ONE point. It was fantastic and I was there screaming my lungs out. :)
I should probably do more wedding planning stuff, but it's still so far away, I feel I don't have to yet. I will start looking for dresses soon, though. I heard those take a while to order and whatnot. But I'm super excited to get a pretty dress! I know exactly what I want it to look like!! So this may be a challenge because it's pretty specific. :)
Yeah...I haven't really been volunteering...I feel pretty bad about it but I either 1) keep forgetting or 2)I was too preoccupied finding a job/working at my current job. Yeah...not sure what I'm going to do. Oh well, one day at a time, right?
Well, until next time bloggers. Peace.

Changes
So....
I thought I'd be ok with this not-going-to-school-this-semester-thing-because-I-need-to-earn-money-for-college thing...but it absolutely sucks. What I mean by that is...I thrive on learning. I love to learn, and I love working on projects that take hours and being content after it's all complete. That sense of accomplishment is missing in my life right now, and I remember the awesome feelings I received because of it. I never realized how much school means to me up until now. I know, I might feel differently if I was going to school, but I don't so I will feel this way until I go to school in the spring. That's just how I am. :)
Also, another thing that is affecting my life right now is not having a job to earn money for said college in the spring. I have had a couple interviews, but I haven't heard back yet. I keep applying to places, but they seem to not have interest. It totally sucks. I need a job badly, and if I did have a job, it would distract me from thinking about how much I want to go to school.
I've labeled my life right now as: Stuck in the Doldrums.
But...
I'm staying positive. Or at least I'm trying to. Luckily I have friends to hang out with in the meantime, and my fantastic fiance. I know things can only get better from here, and I'm hoping for a fun job to come around for me soon enough.
On a happier note, Brandon and I set our wedding date for August 12, 2011. :) I'm super excited! It gives me enough time to plan and whatnot. Plus, I'm not in any hurry unlike a lot of engaged couples. Which isn't bad, don't get me wrong, I'm just not like that. I want my wedding to be nearly perfect(because nothing is ever perfect), and all the major and minor details will be addressed in the amount of time I left for planning. Our engagements will be taken on October 3 because I want the pretty fall colors in the mountains. I love awesome colors! So that should be fun. :) I'll post pictures on Facebook for all to see. And my amazing cousin is taking our pictures, so that should be awesome. :)
On a side note/random rant, people need to grow up. For real. Confront someone if you have a problem with them and let them know how you feel. I'm to the point where I have to make the move since I have no idea what I did wrong to this person. I really shouldn't care or something, but for some odd reason I do. This may be vague to some people hence the random rant.
I love photography. I've been taking pictures again with my grandpa's SLR film camera, and I just developed a roll of film. Some didn't turn out well, but some did. It can be a hit and miss since I'm still an amateur beginner. I hope to teach myself some tricks, and eventually take a few classes up at the U. :)
Also, House starts next week. I. Am. So. Excited. I've been waiting all summer for this show to start up again! :)
Well, this turned out to be pretty long, but hey, it was fun. :) Until next time, ya'll.

Where did the summer go?
Seriously, this summer has gone by way too quickly. Wayyy too quickly.
Well, a lot has happened in the past month. I am engaged! :) It's pretty exciting, but I won't be getting married for at least a year. Brandon proposed when we were in San Diego, California. It was fantastic, but I could have changed a few things while I was being proposed to. Oh well, makes for a funny story. If you ever want to know, let me know. I do want to do my engagements this fall though because of the colors. So, we'll see how that goes :)
Also, I quit my job at Vanity. Things were just getting, well, out of hand. I'm glad to be gone, but now I'm unemployed. I need to get a job asap, and I'm still waiting for the manager of Kiddie Kandids to give me a call. I really want this job because I think it'll be good for me in so many ways. I'll get to do photography, plus it'll help me work with children which is not one of my strong points. I'm not a fan of children, so maybe this could allow me to warm up to them.
And I've been staying up way late and waking up way late. I really should fix this sleeping schedule, but it's hard when I don't really have to wake up for anything. This is why I need a job of sorts.
It'll be weird not going to school this semester. Not going to lie.

Summer
This summer has been, well, interesting. In my previous post, I mentioned how I'd be going camping. Yeah, that's probably not going to happen. Unless I hike Timp in August. Which is a very big possibility. So, again, we'll see what happens.
It's been quite the emotional week. I've just been so stressed with work issues, and all that jazz. Today, I was also not doing so well(emotionally), and I wanted my Brandon to be with me. Unfortunately, his schedule is a lot different than mine, but we still try our best to see each other. But today he surprised me in the most fantastic way possible. I went to a friend's futsol game, and to my surprise, he showed up! I had no idea because I thought he was going into work at seven. He told me he was able to see me for a couple hours before he had to go into work. I was so happy to see him...you have no idea. I needed that two hours with him. I love him dearly, and I'm so grateful for everything he does for me.
Anyway, I had my volunteer orientation the other day. It went well! I'm very excited to start my volunteer work. They are supposed to call me about a mentor session, which is like training, this week or next week. It'll be awesome. I'm going to work with cats, and only cats. This also makes me happy.
I recently saw Despicable Me. FANTASTIC movie. I loved it! I encourage anyone and everyone to go and see it. That is all.
I'm hoping this week gets better, but I have a feeling next week will be a lot better.
Oh, I'm going to California at the end of this month. That should be an adventure. I'm going with Brandon and we're going to Six Flags Magic Mountain, the beach, and possibly San Diego. I think this vacation will be good for me in many ways. I need to get away from responsibilities for a few days and compose myself. Everyone needs a vacation once in a while. While we are driving, I'm hoping it won't be too bad of a drive. I attempt to sleep, watch movies, and talk to my darling boyfriend. I will make the best of it!
Well, I'm off. Who knows when I'll post next. :)

Hello, Blog
Well, it's been two months since I've posted anything. I've been quite the busy person lately. I had to finish up school at SLCC, which ended fabulously if I might add. :) I have my Associate's, so now I get to take my two semester break to earn money for the U. Pretty stoked about it.
I'm really excited for the summer. I have a bunch of hiking trails I want to go on, plus I'll be going camping for the first time ever. Yeah, I know it's pretty weird. But I've never really been fond of the idea of camping, but I'm trying to experience new things. So, I have a feeling I'll be going two or three times this summer if everything goes as planned. We'll see what happens.
I'm going to some concerts this summer too. :) I'm super excited. My concert agenda includes: Foreigner, Styx, and Kansas at the Miller Sports Park on May 29th, Warped tour on August 7th, Sherwood and Allred on August 21st, and then I'm sure I'll go to random ones in between those. But those are for sure, and I'm totally excited. I really miss going to concerts, and I hope to fill that void.
I've also been reading a lot this summer. I think I've read...4 books so far since the end of the spring semester. I don't know how many more I'll read, but I'm thinking a lot. I love to read when I don't have school. It's great!
I'm going to volunteer at the Humane Society starting July. I'm pretty excited about this. I can't wait for the experience and to give love to the animals residing at the shelter. It might be really sad and hard sometimes, but I think it will be a really gratifying experience in the long run.
So I've come to the conclusion I'm really grateful for my job. Yes. It's rough out there, and while I would like to find a new job, I'm not going to be too upset if I don't find anything right now.

Spring Break
I love spring break. Especially since today the temperature is sixty degrees outside and perfect weather. :)
So, last night my friend Rebecca came over and we watched The Mask of Zorro. I seriously forgot how much I love that movie. It has everything awesome in it: romance, sword fighting, sexy hispanics, lust, revenge, adventure, etc. It makes for a fantastic movie and I'm so glad I was able to watch it again. Thanks Rebecca for coming over to hang out!
Also, I saw one of my friends that goes to Westminster and we went to lunch at Leatherbys. That place brings back so many memories! Like, going over there after musicals or concerts and hanging out with friends and eating ice cream, or when I hated the place with a passion because it took Kenny away from me in sophomore year. Oh, the sweet, sweet memories. :) I felt a little nostalgic, but it was pretty entertaining.
So, I work quite a bit this weekend: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and maybe Sunday. I'm pretty happy about it because I need the money, and I like working at Vanity. It's going to be rough when I have to quit because I've been there so long and gained many friendships. But I can't quit until I find another job, preferrably full-time, so I may still be there for most the summer. Eventually I need to find another job that pays more and I can work full time so I can earn money to go to the U. Therefore, finding that sort of job may be somewhat difficult. Oh well, I need to stay optimistic about it. :)
Well, that's the current status of my life. Oh and before I forget, I need to say how much I love photography. I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY! Alright, I'm done. Have a fantastic life everyone! :)

Oh Life...
So, I've pretty much been stressed for the past two weeks, and I'm still stressed! I feel like I have so much to do with school, that I don't know where to begin, or I can't do it. Although, I'm hoping by Wednesday I'll have most of my homework done so I won't have to do much over spring break. I'll have a photo assignment to do, but it won't be that bad.
The main thing causing me stress is this Social Psychology project I'm trying to accomplish. I'm writing and presenting my paper on an episode of Big Love, and it's been quite the hassle trying to find a disc to bring into my class to show a clip. I ordered the first season on amazon.com, but it hasn't arrived yet and my project is due on Tuesday. So now I have to rent a disc from the first season, which will work, but I'm just frustrated that I didn't think of it sooner, and now I spent money on the first season and I probably didn't even need to. Bah... oh well, it might be a good season so I'll use my moneys worth and watch it.
Anyway, tomorrow should be quite the day. I have to finish my project, and then I'm going to watch the Oscars. It should be a good end to a stressful day.

It's already February?!?
Wow, time sure does fly. It's mostly a good thing, though. :)
I love life! I love how many hardships are in life and the challenges they bring. I'm mostly talking about school this semester. It's going to get really challenging, and it already is, but I can do it! I am starting to love photography, and I have a feeling it will be a hobby of mine for a LONG time. Whenever I get rich (or some kind of sufficient income), I'd like to invest in an expensive camera. We'll see how that goes. I'm optimistic about it, though! I really want one and it'd be super awesome.
I also love Racquetball. It's so fun and I'm getting better at it! I'm going to ask for a racquet for my birthday, so hopefully I'll get one. If not, that will be something else I'll try to purchase. Yay!
What else is going on in my life...well...I'm still with Brandon and enjoying every minute of it. :) This coming weekend is Valentine's Day weekend, and Brandon and I have some fun plans. :) Dinner and movie! I'm so excited! He's taking me to one of my favorite restaurants: Market Street Grill. Sooooo stoked! Then we're going to go see Dear John! Ahhh! I'll probably cry, but that's ok. I'm super excited to see that movie. I'll probably want to read the book after, too.
Well, I can't think of anything else to write, so peace out. =)

A new year, a new perspective
It's 2010. I can't believe how much has changed this past year. I'm anxious to start a new year and be happy in everything I do. Despite the challenges I will face, it will be okay. I've changed in so many ways over the past few months. My perspectives are changing because of the experiences I'm currently experiencing. It's kind of crazy how that happens. I'm still trying to wrap my head around everything. I have a serious boyfriend, and we're planning our future together. I never thought I'd be doing that at the age of 19. Ah...so weird. But in a way, I like it. I still have my goals and aspirations in life, but I have someone with me to stand by my side and help me achieve these goals. It's quite fantastic. I like this feeling and I could definitely get used to it.
Anyway...spring semester starts next week. It's been a good break, and I'll be having more adventures this week. :) But after this week, let the stress begin. 16 credit hours plus I'll be working a couple shifts a week. Luckily it won't be a lot, but I still need to have some kind of income. I think this semester will be fun though because I have a couple psychology classes plus some really interesting classes like Natural Disasters, Photography, and Social Problems. After this semester, I'm done at SLCC! My plan is after I graduate to get a full-time job during the summer and fall, and then make my way to the U during spring 2011. So, we'll see how that pans out. I'm really anxious and excited to start my life up at the U. I hope to get into their Psychology school and possibly get a minor revolving around fashion. We'll see how this works out. I also want a new (used) car before I head up to the U, and I know exactly what I want. So, we'll see how that works out as well.
I have so many goals. I don't know if this is a good thing, or a bad thing. But I'm wanting it to lean towards a good thing. With goals, I feel like I have a purpose in life and something to strive for. I like it. Therefore, goals are a fantastic thing in my eyes.
There's my current status for the month. :)
Anyway...spring semester starts next week. It's been a good break, and I'll be having more adventures this week. :) But after this week, let the stress begin. 16 credit hours plus I'll be working a couple shifts a week. Luckily it won't be a lot, but I still need to have some kind of income. Stressed much?
I sure am. With the end of semester nearing closer and closer everyday, it means that I need to study for a couple tests, and write about a gazillion papers. Well, not really that much, more like four, but still. You get my point. :) Luckily, my giant term project is almost complete. Hooray! Just one...more...page. And then I can move on to studying for my Abnormal Psych exam, and worrying about whether or not my credits from SLCC will transfer to the U. I'm going to meet with an academic advisor tomorrow, so hopefully that will bring about some good news. But I am quite worried. What if the classes I've already taken don't transfer? Then what? I'd be very upset but I'll try not to think about that. Also, I need to turn in my graduation application because I plan on graduating in the spring. If everything turns out well, which I'm hoping it does. Therefore, I can't mail the application until I know for sure that the classes I've registered for in the spring will allow me to get a transferable degree and my degree and transcript will make it's way up to the U. I don't think I'll be registering for classes in Fall '10 because I'm going to work full time and earn money to actually go to the U. And get my new (used) car. Chevy Cobalt. Yep, that's what kind of car I want. So, we'll see how my plan works out. I think taking a semester off from school will be nice. I just don't know if I'll get a new job, or keep the one I'm currently at. Because I love Vanity...but, I may have to move on with my life. Sigh.
Anyway, enough rambling. I really should be in bed. Farewell.

Fall is in the air!
I love warm fall days. They make me happy. Plus, this time change is awesome.
It's been a while since I've last posted. About a month and a half. I guess October was pretty busy for me, but who knows. This month is actually going to be busier because I have a bunch of papers to write. It ought to be fun. :) No, really it will be fun because they should be pretty easy to write. A few of them need research, and I just have to find that motivation to research them and write them, but they'll all get done. Go team! I'm excited to write my paper on Unitarian Universalism. It should be interesting and I'm looking forward to learning more about that religion.
I'm really happy with how life is going. I'm still with Brandon, and I absolutely love every single minute we spend together. This is the part where you think, or even say, gag. It's ok, I don't mind. :) But yeah, we try to make time for each other because we both have busy schedules, and it seems to work out pretty well. We went to the Ute game on Halloween, and that was an experience. It was really entertaining to see people dressed up in costumes. So funny. There was a guy dressed up as Jesus which I found really bizarre. But good for him I guess! There was also a person dressed up as the mom from Hairspray. I can't remember her name...but I hope you know which one I am talking about. It was really funny.
Anyway, I need to go on spontaneous adventure sometime soon. It's time to do something random. As much as I love routine, it needs to be broken once in a while. It's kind of hard right now though, because of school and how there are only 5 more weeks left in the semester...so it may have to wait until December. Or January. We'll see.
For those of you who haven't heard about my Las Vegas experience, let me enlighten you. I absolutely hate Vegas. I couldn't breathe there because the stench was a mixture of smoke, alcohol, perfume, and air fresheners. It's really not a good combination. It's disgusting. But, the concert was fun! And that is the reason why I went. It's always good to see U2 live. :) So, thanks Brandon for letting me experience Vegas for the first time and taking me to U2. :) :) Oh, I did like our hotel too. We stayed at Treasure Island, and it was really pretty. Our room didn't smell like smoke either because we got a non-smoking room. Yay! So, at least that was good.
Well, I bid you farewell blog. Hopefully I'll write more often, but I won't make any promises. Peace. Love. Happiness.

Lazy Day
I think everyone should have a lazy day once in a while. With the stress of life, it's just good to spend a day relaxing and catching up with the world. And I did that today. Yes, there were times where I was thinking, "Wow, I'm so bored."...but thats ok! :) I even got some stuff done. I studied for a test, went to new websites I don't usually go to, and took my sister to soccer practice for my dad. Yep. Oh, and I went to class and took my fifteen minute test. Yeah, that's how long it was. And it was extremely easy. Hooray! I love psychology.
Anywho, I'm worried about my lizard. He's acting very sluggish and I don't know why. :( I hope he's ok.
My computer is going to die. I shall post at a later time. Peace.

School, School, and SCHOOL!
I love college. :) It's really great to be in an atmosphere where people actually WANT to be there. I'm really happy with how my classes are going so far, which automatically makes it wonderful. I'm extremely fond of my Personal Growth and Development class. I think it's going to be great. I feel so peaceful when I attend that class, and then I'm continually peaceful throughout the day.
On another note, I'm trying to get into shape. A couple nights ago I went running at the Taylorsville track with my sister. I almost ran a whole lap without stopping. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it because I was exhausted and it hurt to breathe. This just tells you how out of shape I am despite how "skinny" I am. Therefore, my current goal is to get into shape. I need to ask my sister to write up a work out guide for me. She's pro at that. I swear she's going to be a personal trainer in the future...
So, I haven't attending the writing group meetings for a while. :( Unfortunately, I always have work on Wednesday evenings so I can never go. It's quite sad. I hope I'll be able to go again...but I guess we'll see what happens.

School is next week...
...and I'm so excited! I am so ready to get back in routine and attend classes. I'm even excited for homework. How weird is that? But I'm sure I'll be sick of that within a couple weeks or so. But here are my classes I'm taking for the Fall Semester:
Religious Diversity in America
Personal Growth and Development
Intro to Sociology
Abnormal Psychology
I'm pretty excited for all four of these classes. :) And I also found out a lot of people I know are attending SLCC this semester. It's pretty exciting :) I think this will be a good year.
Summer flew by. So much has happened this summer, and I'm so happy with how things are turning out in my life. I still work at Vanity which I love, I have my amazing boyfriend, and Melissa is back from Oakcrest. :) Things are turning out well. I think I completed my summer goal of reading ten books as well. I'm either going to start book nine or ten in a little while. Unfortunately I lost track of what books I've read. Oh well. I can estimate. :)

Haagen Daz?
Today has been an excellent day. Work was fantastic and it made me feel great. :) I love working midday shifts. Just the thought that I don't have to close is comforting and allows me to be more motivated. :) I felt like a good salesperson today, and getting 4/5 stats is a confidence booster as well. :) I've been off work for about seven hours, but I still feel awesome. I can get used to this...
...there are probably other reasons why I'm feeling like this as well. After work, I went to see The Proposal with Nick and a few of his college buddies. It was way fun. :) We had ice cream afterwards and talked for a bit. I felt really comfortable with them. It was fun. I'd like to do it again.
Then at around eleven fifteen I had a visit from my cute boyfriend. :) Which was awesome. Like always. :) I'm such a sap. But I don't care. I like feeling this way. If I could, I'd make the whole world feel this way. It's a great feeling.
I also bought my jeans today! When I say 'my jeans', I mean the Vanity Samantha jeans. We really have jeans named Samantha. It's so cool! So I purchased those, as well as a cute shirt. I get to wear them tomorrow for work because Jamie asked me to come in for three hours. I'm ok with that! :) More hours equals more money. And that's always a good thing.
I thought I'd share my happiness with the world tonight. :) At least, the blogging world. I'm stoked for tomorrow as well. Not only for work, but for the writing group meeting I'm going to attend. It'll be swell.

Money, Money, Money
Man, what a summer it has been so far. Unfortunately, my goals still need to be accomplished. I need to read five or six more books to meet my reading goal this summer. I also didn't accomplish my hiking goal. But it's hard to find the time and money to go to the canyons twice a week. I guess I should have thought this through a little more...
Anyway, despite my goals, this summer has been quite eventful. I'm usually doing something every day, which is good. It keeps me busy and all that jazz. I'm anxious for school to start though. I think it'll be good to get back into routine so I won't sleep in until noon most days.
I've been really worried about money lately. I mean, I have a job, but it's just not enough for me to pay for school and everything else I have to worry about including: speeding ticket, traffic school, gas, and other stuff. Luckily, my parents are going to chip in a bit to help pay for tuition, but still it sucks not having a scholarship. I was also going to apply for FAFSA again, so we'll see if I'll get any adequate funds from the government. I guess I'm really going to be a poor college student this year. That's ok though because I will learn.
Anyway, I gotta go to work now...I'll write some more another day! Peace.

Tacos?
Well, hello Blogosphere! I don't really know who reads this anymore, but that's ok. It's kind of like my way to piece everything going on in my life together. I'm pretty sure I butchered that sentence. Oh well.
Anyway, a lot has happened this past week. I have gone hiking, hung out with friends, and managed to get a boyfriend. Yeah, I'm in a relationship. It's been a while since I've been in an actual relationship. I like it. :) Brandon is a very nice guy and he treats me with respect. He also likes me a lot, so that's a plus. :) And...my family likes him. :) :) I have a feeling I will be happy for a very long time with Brandon. Hooray!
This weekend is the 4th of July. I'm totally stoked for it. :) I have plans for the whole weekend! And both Friday and Saturday night will be filled with good friends and awesome fireworks! :)
Well, I'm not really in the mood to write anymore. Peace. :)

Adventures
June has been quite the month. Despite it raining pretty much every freaking day, I find myself going on all sorts of adventures without the weather tying me down. :) I even went to Lagoon in the pouring rain. Well, it poured for at least a half hour, but my friends and I were all drenched after that incident. It was very interesting. Btw, I have gone to Lagoon a lot in the past two weeks.
But...
I hate rain. I'm really sick of it, and I just want summer to be more defined with sunshine and all that good stuff. I tried to go on one of my favorite hikes yesterday, but it was raining so much we had to turn back. We didn't even get to the destination. Nonetheless, I will accomplish that hike in nice weather.
On the bright side, this past Friday was a fantastic sunny, warm day. Luckily I spent most of it outside at the Gateway with my friend Brandon. It was so much fun and it was the perfect weather for browsing the shops at the Gateway. They even had a chalk festival going on, so it was cool to watch people draw pictures with chalk. :)
Speaking of festivals, I am going to the Utah Arts Festival on Thursday and I'm extremely excited. :) I've never been and I'm anxious to see how many cool works of art will be there as well as the symphony performances. It is going to be an radically fantastic adventure.
I finally played Badminton last night for the first time in like, three weeks or so. It felt so good. I missed it so much and it was nice to spend time with my Badminton buddies. :)
I need to start reading again. I've been so busy this past week that I haven't had time to read. I think I will start a book tonight and see how it goes. :)
Signing out. Peace.

Rain Rain go away
Seriously. Please go away. I'm tired of the rain. And thunder. And lightening.
I want to start my outdoor summer activities. Unfortunately, I can't because of the stupid weather. I need to get going on my hiking adventures so I can finally be in shape. I should probably start getting in shape before I go hiking...hmmm...we'll see. It's a great idea though, right? Not only is hiking one of my outdoor activities for this summer, but Lagoon as well. I am officially a 2009 season passport holder and I'm going to use it to the fullest extent. :) I'm sure it will be quite the adventure going with my fellow buddies who also have the pleasure of owning a pass. Even my sister has one, which is also a plus. Special sister-bonding time! Yay! :)
Moving on...
I'm catching up with an old friend. I'm very happy about this because, well, I missed this friend. I missed talking to this person and having those "deep conversations." Those conversations are good for the soul. Really, they are. I like talking to this person and I hope it will continue throughout the summer.
For those of you who don't know, I have a gecko. Yes, a gecko. To be more specific, a T-rex leopard gecko. And I love him to death. His name is Iggy and purchasing him was one of the most spontaneous things I've ever done. :) I like my spontaneous purchase. So yeah, I take care of him now. He's my pet and our family cat, Misha, absolutely loves him as well. It's quite entertaining.
I really enjoy board games. I hope this summer will consist of occasionally playing board games along with my other list of goals I need to accomplish this summer like, read at least 10 books, hike twice a week, go to Lagoon as much as possible, etc. I need to do all those, plus go to work. Making goals for this summer was probably one of the smartest ideas I've come up with in a long time. My time will be well spent as long as I have the motivation and drive. :)
As for now, I'm off. Peace and Love.
