October

October

Surprises around every corner,
to bring about the rush of adrenaline.
Unfamiliar faces, props, and fog;
Just to name a few of the outlandish scenes.

Nerves on end, sweat trickles down;
“Just another walk in the park,” she whispers nervously.
As glowing faces and flashing lights,
reveal the eerie darkness.

Movie scenes and daydreams,
coming to life for some.
Who knew nightmares could be so tall,
as the hovering sensation towers over her.

At last the feat is complete,
as she turns the last corner to freedom.
Looking back on the experience she says confidently,
“That wasn’t bad at all.”

Hey... I like this. Nice job! I think my favorite line is "Who knew nightmares could be so tall?" It gives me this image of a really long shadow... like when the sun is going down. It's cool. :)
