Mission Accomplished

I feel so good today. I got a lot done. :) My Mondays always seem to be pretty productive. I think tomorrow I'll be productive too. It makes me feel pretty fantastic. :)

I love laughing. It's awesome.

Mars Attacks! is quite the random show.

I like this.

This one sentence thing.

House was amazazing. Like always.

Oops

So much for trying to update my blog everyday... This is the longest I've gone without posting for like, a month? I don't even know how long it has been since I've wanted to write everyday. Oh well. :) Wow, I'm pretty sure what I just said doesn't make sense at all. Again, oh well.

Slumdog Millionaire is fantastic. In my opinion, it's not even that bad to be rated R. But maybe I'm desensitized. I agree with Nick, though. Not sure if it was Oscar worthy, but it was definitely wonderful. It's an epic love story. :) And...I even got a better feel for the Indian culture. :) Sweet action.

I have....six tests in two weeks. Kill me now. Unfortunately, three of them are finals. Luckily, I'm almost done with my killer Human Growth and Development take home test. Now I'm more worried about my two Stat tests. I have the first of the two tomorrow. Oh joy.

I complain about school a lot. I bet it gets annoying. I think it's a way for me to release my stress. I don't really know, though. Fortunately, it's almost over and I get to enjoy the awesome summer. :) For example, I am getting a Lagoon season passport. I decided this today because my sister got one and I was like, hey I should get one and then whenever we get bored we can go to Lagoon. Not every time we are bored, but a few times. I'll definitely get my moneys worth. :)

I'm ALMOST done with Wicked. Maybe I'll finish it tonight. I guess I better stop writing so I can start reading.

Wow, this post is a lot longer than my last few posts. Cool beans :)

Let the stress begin :)

Bring it on, Stress. Bring it on.

I'm pretty busy tomorrow. Unfortunately, I won't get a lot of reading time in because I'll be doing homework. Pretty much all day and night. :) Hooray!

Wicked is a really good book. Once again. I'm getting farther into the story, and I keep on loving it. I'll probaby read some more tonight. I'm more than half way done now! I love getting lost in a book. I probably got lost at the wrong time, though. I really should be focused on studying and finishing homework before school ends. But alas, I read. My timing rocks. :)

I'm so overwhelmed right now. I need to stop thinking about tomorrow.

Goal!

You know what really made my day? Holding six Death Cab for Cutie concert tickets in my hand.

Today was a pretty good day because I woke up feeling refreshed and awake. That hasn't happened for a while and it was a good change. Plus, the weather was amazing and I think I'm going to wear shorts tomorrow. :)

Like usual, Stats sucked. I mean, it'd be good if my calculator wasn't being so stupid. I wanted to rely on it today, but I wasn't able to because apparently I'm typing data the wrong way. Psh. Technology occasionally angers me.

Things turned out better once I was watching my sister's soccer game. It was so intense! They tied the game at the last minute. 1-1. Score it. :) I mean, it'd be better if they won, but a draw is better than a loss. And I had fun watching Melissa eat sunflower seeds. Now THAT is hilarious. :) She needs me to train her or something. Bahahaha.

I'm going to see The Soloist on Friday. Pretty much excited. :)

Work, Books, Finals

I worked every day this weekend. Wow. I'm a champion. :) I worked all day today, but it was alright. I was kind of irritated because people kept returning their purchases therefore it made sales go down. No bueno. But my mom and sister came into Vanity today! It was very exciting. They bought some stuff. :)

Anyway, I don't work again this week. It's kind of unfortunate, but at the same time it'll be nice to have a break. Who knows, maybe someone will ask me to cover one of their shifts. We'll see. Only if I'm not busy! Which will be rare this week since my schedule is full of soccer games, homework, and school. Hooray! Finals are coming up. Gasp.

I'm starting to read Wicked. So far it's very interesting and I have a feeling I'm going to like it. I'm not that far yet, but I'm excited to know the WHOLE story. Now I just have to see the broadway musical and the movie (if they are making one). I hope they are making a movie! It'd be good just in case I never see the live musical.

Why do boys have to be so complicated? :)

Post Post Post

I thought I should post since I didn't last night. Honestly, I forgot. Yeah, I know. I'm a terrible person. Nah, just kidding. :)

Last night was pretty awesome! I don't really want to elaborate much...So...yeah.

Tonight was awesome as well! I'll elaborate...Kenny made me dinner, Kenny and I went shopping for clothes for HIM which was utterly amazing, and then went to Leatherby's and got some ice cream, and then we went to Melissa's house and watched the Sound of Music. After the Sound of Music, Melissa and I almost died laughing. I'm not entirely sure what we were laughing about, but I know some of it was because I looked like a dead fish at one point. Yeah, good times. While this is going on, Kenny is sleeping. Oh yeah, more good times. :)

I gotta wake up kind of early tomorrow to go to my sister's soccer game, so until next time. :)

Scholarships

Yeah, that's right. Scholarships. I've been applying for a couple tonight, but I'm going to apply for the one I'll most likely get tomorrow. It's a tuition waiver SLCC offers for continuing students with at least a 3.5 GPA. Hooray! :) I'm in a great mood because of this scholarship business. :)

Tomorrow is going to be great. I'm going to use every precious minute of my time doing productive activities. For example: writing my summer goals and goals I can achieve within a month down on a piece of paper, filling out the scholarship application I'll most likely get, mailing this said scholarship application, stats homework, oh and class. And probably some other stuff I can't think of at the moment.

Work went by pretty fast tonight. It was a good thing. :) But I missed work so it was nice to get back in the helping customers and doing freight routine. :) I helped pick out an outfit for a customer tonight. It was awesome.

There is a dance at SLCC on Friday night. I'm pretty excited about this! It's free, which is a good thing because I'm currently broke right now, and It'll give me the opportunity to meet more guys (possibly). Or at least dance with them. :) And before the dance I'm hanging out with my good friend Kenny. Oh how I love that kid. :)

Stranger than Fiction

It's been a great night. A GREAT night. :) I love spending time with Jaron, Nick, and Melanie.

It all started after my Human Growth and Development class. I went to pick up Jaron to take the trax up to the U with him. I love talking to Jaron. :) He makes me happy. We discussed various subjects, and it was nice. I get good vibes with people, and Jaron is one of those people. 'Nuff said. :)

Anyway, we attended Nick and Melanie's concert, and man was it amazing. I mean, amazazing. David Maslanka's (I really hope I spelled that right) Symphony 8 was awesome. It was probably the best piece of instrumental music I've heard all year. I was way into it. :)

After the concert we went back to Nick's house to eat some food and watch a movie. The movie was Stranger than Fiction. It's a very intriguing movie. I like it. :) I've seen it before, but back when I saw it, I thought it was ok and not the greatest movie. Now that I've watched it again, I caught all the dialogue and humor. I enjoyed it. Plus, Will Ferrell is awesome. And Dustin Hoffman. :)

Well, it's time for me to turn in. Good night.

Utter Disappointment

Ugh. Stupid scratch on my phone. It's bothering me.

So, today was a fun day. I slept in until eleven thirty and didn't go to my Communications class. I didn't want to because I knew we weren't going to do anything today, therefore I slept in. It was nice. :) I only went to my Stats class today, and I'm glad I did (even though I go every time anyway because missing the class would be death). Anyway, I was able to get some questions answered about my project. It was very useful. After class I came home to work on my homework, which I didn't do so well on the first assignment. I was confused, but then I started getting the hang of it. Yay...

Melissa came over at about four, today. We watched Seven Pounds while she colored in her giant Cars coloring book. It was so cool. After that she stayed for dinner and then after we watched She's the Man. I was able to color a picture of Mader (I don't know if I spelled his name right). It turned out quite well. :) I did some cool shading and whatnot. I love coloring...it's a wonderful stress reliever.

Unfortunately, Melissa had to go home. Like all good things, they come to an end. But I was able to watch the new episode of House. It was awesome. I love that show. I have watched a lot of tv today/tonight. It won't be like that tomorrow, though. I'm pretty busy. :)

I found out about something tonight that made me very disappointed. I can't go to Nick and Melanie's quartet performance on Thursday because it interferes with my class. I'm still pretty sad about it. :(

Well, this has been another post on the daily adventures of Samantha Brooke Perez. Have a wonderful night ya'll.

Easter treats

I didn't post yesterday. Probably because I didn't get home until after three. Oh good times hiking up Ensign Peak in the early hours of the mourn. :) Unfortunately, my green chucks have mud all over them.

Anyway, Easter was today and I loved every second of it. :) My mom hid some eggs in our backyard for my sister and I and we had fun finding them. I even got beef jerky for Easter! It was awesome! I love beef jerky. :) Then we went to my grandma's for lunch/dinner at two. We had an amazing meal. :) I even played badminton!!! I love it. Hooray!

I watched a really powerful movie today called Seven Pounds. I recommend it to everyone. I know it received bad ratings and all that jazz, but I really liked it. It sends a good message and everything made sense in the end. I was literally confused throughout the whole movie up until the end. Everything was pieced together and it was absolutely wonderful. :) So, go see it.

Maple Butter Thing

So, I went on yet another spontaneous adventure. It was pretty exciting :) I went lazer tagging with Dallin, Nicole, and Dani. That was an adventure. Dani won. It really doesn't surprise me. Then we picked up Jessica and dropped off Dallin at his house and then and went to Applebee's. We just ordered appetizers and desserts. But as we were eating our mozzerella sticks, the manager comes over to us and asks how we're doing and all that jazz. Then he started talking about the desserts and how we needed to try the Blondie since neither of us had it before. He just gave us the "Blondie" thing and we didn't even have to pay for it. He was totally hitting on us or something. Just the way he acted, you could tell. So, this Blondie thing had like maple butter and some kind of cake with walnuts. It was ok, not nearly as good as the manager elaborated, but it was alright.

All in all, tonight was fun. :) Tomorrow is going to be even better. Hannah Montana and then later, Studio 600. It's going to be great. Oh, and I have to work on my group project with my group, but that won't take too long. It'll be a very eventful day. I may even write a paper. We'll see how the day goes. :)

Discussion

My Human Growth and Development class had a really good discussion today about books, faith, etc. It was intense! I feel so good right now. So good. I love knowing who I am and I love learning about what people believe because no matter what, I am still the same person. I really want to have a deep discussion with someone right now. It'd be super intense. SUPER intense. Everything that would come out of my mouth would be sincere and honest. No bull crap and whatnot. I LOVE who I am right now, and I don't want it to ever change. People may try, but it won't happen. That's all I gotta say. They can't get through my thick German skin. I'm so happy. :) Even though I have my daily trials and it can sometimes get me down, I still feel great knowing how fortunate I am being alive and healthy. I'm grateful for what I have despite small constant struggles throughout the day. I wake up everyday knowing today is going to be good. Well, most days. It's rare when I wake up sad or unhappy. My unhappiness when I do wake up is if I have to get up early or something. Other than that, I wake up with a good attitude.

If you listen to "If Today was your last day" by Nickelback, it might make your day. Depending on if you like Nickelback. If not, then it might not. But that song is currently my favorite song.

Ah! I can't get over how good I feel. I wish I could explain it, but sometimes I can't explain everything I feel. I just feel it.

Accomplished

I'm feeling semi accomplised :) Last night I did my individual presentation for my Communications class. I don't present until the 22nd, but I wanted to do it. It is about hiking and a few of the Wasatch Front trails, and after working on it, I want to go hiking. Like, really bad. Hiking is peaceful and I forget everything when I hike. It's a really good feeling.

Anyway, the only other class I have to do a lot of work in currently is Statistics. Go figure. I might work on the Project #3 this weekend, but we'll see how it goes. I don't think it'll take too long...at least, I hope not.

I'm going to see Hannah Montana the movie on Saturday. Totally stoked. :) I'm going with some good friends too. It'll be a party. :)

So, I'm starting to watch Heroes again. I'm trying to get caught up so I'll be ready for Volume 5. It's sooooo good. I love that show to death. It's so intense. Thanks to Nick, I'm able to watch Volume 3 and Volume 4 episodes because he recorded them on his Tivo. Thanks Nick. :) You're a pal.

House

...was insanely shocking. I'm still like WHAT?! yeah....I love House.

Anyway, I went and saw Monsters vs. Aliens tonight. HILARIOUS movie. I recommend this movie for everyone. And go see it in 3D. It's ten times better. :)

I'm kind of lost for words right now so, this is all I'm going to write tonight.

Lovely

It has been quite the weekend. I had a blast dancing to music. Even though I need some sleep since I only got six hours last night, I am doing pretty well. :) I love partying with good friends and eating breakfast with cute guys. This weekend wasn't nearly as good as last weekend, but it was still awesome. I even ate Cafe Rio, Olive Garden, and Cracker Barrel all in the same weekend. That was amazing.

I watched Enchanted this weekend as well. I never realized how funny that movie really is. I watched it with Kortney on Friday, and boy was it awesome. I laughed quite frequently.

Anyway, since the semester is almost over, I have a ton of projects and finals coming up. The word "final" never used to bother me until now because I have three this semester. Last semester I only had one real final. I'm kind of nervous for all these tests. I just need to prep myself in order to do well on all of them. The one I'm most worried about is Statistics. I need to keep a positive attitude and study hardcore in order for me to pass with flying colors. Statistics is also stressing me out because I have a group project to work on, and a individual project due before the class is over. Plus two tests and a final. I never realized a math class could be so brutal. Oh wait, yes I have. Calculus. Except I dropped that class after the first semester. I'm actually following through with Stats.

I have to do an individual presentation for Communications, which should be fairly easy, but I need to get started on it. This month is going to be quite the challenge because I will have another huge take home test for my Human Growth and Development class as well. It's an easy test, but it takes a lot of time.

Wow, I should really stop talking about school or else I'm going to be extremely overwhelmed. Eh, it's bound to happen anyway.

I watched a movie called Never Back Down today. It's a wonderful movie because it's full of good morals and lessons. It kind of reminded me of the O.C., but there was definitely more fighting and such. It's more of a fight movie, but it was extremely intense.

This post is kind of long so I think I'm going to stop writing for the night. I just felt like since I didn't post last night, I needed to make up for it.

Party like a Rockstar

Yep. That's what I did last night. Except I didn't drink :)

So, I am happy I didn't have class this morning. I would have been dead because I was out until one thirty last night. And then I didn't go to bed until two forty five. Good times. And I woke up at eleven thirty. Oh, I love college. :)

I'm pretty excited for my day today! I don't know what I'm going to be doing during the day, but I know I'm going to dinner tonight with a friend and then later a couple of my friends and I are going to a dance held at the South Towne Expo center. It should be an adventure :)

I ran in the rain last night. It was cold, but it was something I have never really done before. By the time we got to Nicole's car, we were all drenched. And I mean drenched. We all probably looked like a wet dogs. I'm not usually a fan of rain, but I didn't really have a choice on whether or not I'd get wet. I'm probably going to get sick or something, but oh well.

Anyway, I think I'm going to eat something real quick. I love food.

New York

I will go there one day. And I will fall in love with it. :)

So, I was pranked today. By Peter Thorup. He said he got in a car accident and totalled his car and I totally believed him. I felt so dumb once he said oh and Happy April Fool's Day! I was like oh gosh....

Work went by unbelievably slow today. I was only there for like three and a half hours, but it was the longest three and a half hours of my life. Well, not really. I had Brittany to talk to most of the time since Jamie took a long lunch. Brittany and I talked about all sorts of things: college, relationships, and sex. It was pretty entertaining.

I should be studying for my Anatomy test tomorrow...I kind of did earlier today...but I should probably do some more before the test tomorrow morning. I might be going to bed soon, though. We'll see what happens.

Anyway, I am pretty much done here for the night. Peace.
