I'm going to make this a habit

Wow! Look at me go.

I'm going to start playing again. I think it'll be good for me. I miss playing the clarinet. When I have a free afternoon, I am going to get some music. I'm pretty excited and I hope I stick with it. Who knows, maybe I'll even get better. :)

I'm going to Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Ohio in May. All in the same week. It's going to be quite the adventure. I'm going with Melissa and her family to visit their dad. He lives in Wisconsin so we'll hang out at his place for a while, then for a day we're going to the Mall of America. :) You know me and malls..we're tight. And the Mall of America is supposed to be huge. After Mall of America (well, after we go back to Melissa's dad's house to sleep), we'll be traveling to Ohio to go to Cedar Point Amusement Park. Pretty much stoked for that. Huge rollercoasters, overpriced food, and screaming people. Sigh. Gotta love amusement parks. Since it's like seven hours away from his house, we'll be staying in a hotel for a couple nights.

Btw, I already bought my plane ticket. :)

Spring break is next week. I don't really have any plans other than working, but I'm sure stuff/fun adventures will come up. Something enjoyable always happens for me these days. Most of it is spontaneous. I like spontaneous. :)

I've been listening to the new U2 album No Line on the Horizon. It's very different from their other stuff. I like it. It's new, fresh, and exciting.

So, maybe if I keep writing in my blog, I won't neglect it so much. This is my current theory.

I just remembered I get my Stats test back tomorrow. Oh no. I'm scared.

I like my name. It rolls off the tongue quite well. :)

I really should be asleep. And yet here I am writing complete nonsense on a blog I hardly ever check. Eh, I must have gotten my second wind.

My room is cozy. I like small rooms.

Ok, glad we got that settled. It's been a while. Lots has happened. I mean, lots. But we won't talk about the past because I mean, who does that?

Let's talk about the current days of Samantha Brooke Perez.

I still go to SLCC. I still work at Vanity. I still have homework. That aspect hasn't changed much. :)

I love boys. Nuff said. Things are looking up in my personal life. I like to go on date adventures. Good times. :) I recommend that everyone should go on a date lasting nine hours. Just do it. Have fun. :)

So...I have a new room. Nick, Jaron, and Rachel came over to help assemble the dresser, nightstand, and bed. My dad did most of it. We got distracted because we were watching Flight of the Conchords. Good show. I think everyone should at least watch one episode. Or listen to the awesome songs. Either way, they could possibly make your day that much brighter. :)

This weekend has been quite the adventure. Actually, life has been quite the adventure.

I want to go hiking. Like, really bad. Too bad the snow isn't melted yet.

Updatedness

Wow. My last post was a poem. And I liked that poem. Good times.

Anyway, so much has happened within a few months. School is almost over for the semester, which is definitely a good thing. I'm ready for a break before the spring semester begins. I just need to get through this week, and my two finals next week, and it'll be good. Then I'll be working a ton to earn money for Christmas! :) I'm excited about that. Worrying only about work and Christmas stuff for a month sounds pretty dang good to me.

I've been reading some people's blogs...and they're really depressing. I mean, I wish I could help these people out but there is only so much I can do. I can always say the generic "You're going to be ok!" and whatnot, but it's not sincere at all. I feel bad because I'm relatively happy right now. My life is going great. I couldn't ask for more. I'm meeting new people, I love my job, and I enjoy school despite the constant stress. Of course I fight with my family, but who doesn't? And then I read blogs that are somewhat sad and it gets me thinking: It's hard living in this world. Living is hard. Making money is hard. Good thing there is love in this life or else we'd all be dead zombies with no heart. I wish I knew how these people feel. Perhaps I have before but just forgot...

Anyway, I went to St. George over Thanksgiving break. I didn't get the traditional turkey dinner this year, but hopefully my parents decide on making one this weekend. We'll see. I went to St. George for my sister's soccer tournament. It was a pretty good trip. I was upset the first night because I couldn't sleep. It wasn't very fun. I wanted to go home and I felt like a burden to my family. But after that night, things started to get better. My sister's team got second place in the tournament. I was proud of her team. I love watching them play!

Nerves on end, sweat trickles down;

As glowing faces and flashing lights,
reveal the eerie darkness.

Movie scenes and daydreams,
coming to life for some.
Who knew nightmares could be so tall,
as the hovering sensation towers over her.

At last the feat is complete,
as she turns the last corner to freedom.
Looking back on the experience she says confidently,
“That wasn’t bad at all.”

Stupid Hiccups

So, my life is basically...busy. That's the best word I can come up with right now. I barely have time for myself anymore because of school, work, and homework. Sometimes I have days where I can do things for myself though. Which is good. Like dates. I like going on dates. Especially the one on thursday. :)


On October 3-4 I am going to Utah State. I'm pretty excited about this :D I really want to see a couple people because it's been way too long since I've seen them. Well, like a month and a half or something but still. It's going to be way fun. :)

I really love my work. For those of you who don't know where I work, it's Vanity. The girls I work with are super funny and fun to be around. Especially Kristen. She is one of my bosses but she is really fun to hang out with. Just last night we went to Leatherby's to eat some dinner and it was awesome! She is also in one of my classes at SLCC which is pretty tight. She has dry humor and can literally make me laugh all the time. Well, it's really easy to make me laugh but I feel like I'm constantly laughing when I'm around her.

I don't know what else to say really, so have a great night. :D

Ginger Ale-My addiction

Wow. It has been a while since I've written! Anyway, so much has happened within a few months!

Let's see where do I begin...oh! ok how about saying how much I love the new Batman movie. oh my gosh. It was sooooo good! :D I saw it twice already and I could see it again. That's how much I love it!

So, I start college in less than a month. I'm actually really excited about it. :D Most of my classes are just the general ones, but I am really thrilled for my hiking class. I can't wait to meet new people! Speaking of meeting new people, I might become a member of the senate for the Student Life and Leadership program at SLCC! How exciting! I really hope I make it because then I can meet new people and gain many new friendships! It's something I really really want.

The title of my post is really random. But I just love ginger ale :D the end.

I'm becoming more and more independent these days. It must be because I'm eighteen. Not going to lie, I really like it! :) I just wish I could get my job situation under control! It's taking forever for me to get the job I want. Hopefully within a few days someone will call me about it.

The fourth and final installment of the twilight series is coming out on August 2nd. I AM SO EXCITED! :D I'm going to the release party on the first and it's going to be a party! :D I have my book reserved and everything and I can hardly wait!
